Wow. I'm surprised. I know a lot of people have this camera. I guess folks know how just how valuable and useful this camera really is so they're holding on to theirs.

Oh well. Hello B&H. ;)

Jeff

Yep, I love mine, I noticed the price jumped a couple hundred when the sony style rebate came out. The rebate window ends on the 30th and the price may go back down again, but like betting on the stock market...no guarantees...

I did notice B&H has a used model for sale for $1199 Used Sony | HVR-HD1000U Digital High Definition HDV | HVRHD1000U

Sony HVR-M15U

Thanks for looking, it's yours for $ 1700.00 Original Box and Manuals

After much deliberation I've decided to sell my Sony HVR-M15U deck. It's in pristine condition, basically *MINT* and it's going to kill me to get rid of it but I can use my Canon or Sony for ingest for a while.

Hours meter shows very low miles:

Operation 60 x 10
Drum Run 7 x 10
Tape Run 5 x 10
Threading 29 x 10

It really doesn't get that much use as I've found myself more often than not plugging my camera into my laptop for a quick ingest and edit so the deck sits at home idle.

I'll pay the shipping UPS Ground Insured US Lower 48 only, anything else we'll have to negociate.

Brevis 35 for sale

I bought this back in October and really haven't used it much. It has been sitting in its sealed case for quite a long time. The specs are as follows:

Brevis35 MP.1 Imaging Bundle (including flip module)
- Mount Type: Nikon (can be changed)
- Non-flip 72mm Achromat:
- Imaging Element: CF1Le (large cameras)
- Brevis35 Diffuser - CINEFUSE 1 (for use with smaller camera sensors)
- Step up ring set - 43-72mm

The Cinefuse 1 was used for my HV30 or any other smaller sized camera. It is very easy to change out the element. Cinevate has some really good videos/tutorials on their site explaining this.

I'd like to get $900 for it. Please let me know if you have any questions and I'll do my best to answer them.

Thanks,

Chad

Steadicam Merlin

We bought this last fall and it hasn't seen much use. We got it right at the time they were changing the top of the handle from plastic to metal. It came with the plastic, but they mailed me the metal one. I have since changed it out with the metal one, but you will get the plastic handle for backup.

How does $550 sound?

Steadicam Pilot

I have a Steadicam Pilot with V-Lock. It is in FANTASTIC shape and can't be told from new. I want to upgrade to a Steadicam Flyer LE now that I have a RED. You can check out my site Higher Definition Media for some sample footage and you will soon see this equipment was well taken care of.

Yeah, I don't get it either. As best I can tell, this would be $259.04 (shipped) from Newegg.

Well, the older V7 (also upgradeable) I sold for Euro 200 plus 22% VAT here in Poland; I guess for a fellow forum user the V8 could go for $250 total (nobody located in the US will pay the VAT to me :). If you care, the price can cover shippig the original V8 disk.
