They are pretty much the same functionally and the 8 series is slightly larger overall - larger "shell", but the guts are pretty similar, as is the menu/control interface. If you use one, the other will "work" the same so you don't have to relearn the interface.

too expensive?

perhaps I over-estimated my market. Am I asking too much for the indislider?

It was a popular item when I was researching, but maybe I'm missing something.

Any insight on how to best sell this item would be really helpful! Thanks in advance everyone!

Have you had any success fixing problems with the lcd screen? I have one with a band missing down the middle and would love to fix it.

Feel free to email me through DVINFO if you want. I don't want to hijack your thread any more than I already have :-)

Thanks,
Vito

PS. For those of you looking at this ad, the iRivers are awesome for events. Buy Dave's stuff!

Hey,

I want to upgrade from Final Cut Express 4 to Final Cut Studio (though no Native AVCHD). Anyone have an old full retail version of Final Cut Pro you haven't upgraded?

Jeff Harper August 7th, 2009 11:31 PM

Hi Dmitry

Kessler recently introduced the pocket dolly for I believe $499.00. It seems to have a few nicer features then the IndiSlider. I have been considering a slider for a while and I think $400 for a used older model is too close to the new unit.

All the best
Dasher

I have 3 point and shoot Sony Camcorders that I no longer use. I purchased these used 2 years ago and they have served me very well and never given me any problems. Price for each is $75 + shipping (USPS, UPS, Fedex, etc...) and I can ship anywhere in the US. Photos of the cameras: www.mfavp.com/auction/trv Sold as is, what you see in the photos.
