The EX1 uses the old style component cable, with the more rectangular plug as opposed to the newer rounder D plug on the camera end. It's the VMC-30VC and if you Google it you'll see it's available almost everywhere. But it isn't cheap.

I'm pretty sure the 30FC won't fit.

I can't get an idea of what that VMC-30VC camera-end connector looks like - is it the same thing? Sorry - just don't want to get the wrong thing.
