It has aluminum rods.

* Tripod mounting plate
* Camera quick release and plate
* Camera riser with X/Y adjustment options
* L-Riser for stepping adapter up or down from camera
* V2 front support bracket with larger cradle
* 30cm base support rods
* 15cm extension support rods
* Industry standard 15mm diameter on 60mm spacing

It also comes with 2 extra sets of 15mm aluminum rods.

The rods are used but the support system is brand new.
