If only I had the money....lol

Trevor Meeks March 29th, 2009 08:09 PM

How does this differ from the FSC-60?

Trevor Meeks March 29th, 2009 08:13 PM

what kind of camera and how big of a light are you looking for? I have a Litepanels Micro which I'd consider selling, and it of course dims, has two warming gels and a diffuser gel, and it accepts external power (although it lasts for a very long time on four AA batteries - I use sony Eneloops.)

Shoot me an e-mail if you're interested, by clicking my username then clicking the "send email" link.

Chris Davis March 29th, 2009 08:39 PM

I may be interested if the price is attractive. They're currently $599 with free shipping at B&H.

Colin Pritchett March 29th, 2009 08:41 PM

I just looked at the Firestore website and it looks like the FS-C is made specifically for Canon DV and HDV cameras. I used this FS-4 ProHD on my Canon XL1s with no problems, in fact it work identically to when I used it with the Panasonic DVX-100A I used to have. As long as your camera has the ability to send a signal down the firewire it will let you start and stop recording with your camera button, if it dosent you can hook up a different composite to firewire cord although most have the 1394 firewire port.

Here is the link to the FS-C info: Focus Enhancements

Hope this helps...

Chrosziel Matte Box for Sale

Chrosziel Matte Box for Sale: $1,000 OBO

Includes:
1. 416-03 16:9 Matte Box (this is what is stamped into the inside of the matte box).
2. Top flag (Chrosziel 402-26 is printed on outside of flag)
3. Two 4x4 rotating filters (Chrosziel brand).
4. Back mount is listed diameter 104mm.
5. Chrosziel brand step down ring: 104-85mm (stamped 411-23).
6. Rail support

Notes:
The matte box is dusty :)
The rail support fits loosely, but is removeable by two thumbscrews and I would advise buying an adjustable one (for some reason this one is a set height).
The very bottom of the matte box has two small square cuts to allow support rods to extend past mattbox when using the included rail supports (the rods would hit the bottom of the matte box, and sometimes this caused a problem).

Please email me for pictures. devon@lyonfilms.com

Chris Luker March 30th, 2009 01:33 PM

Got the NRG light kit as advertised. Thanks!

Andrew Dryden March 30th, 2009 02:03 PM

Hi Michael. Its right at a year old. I mounted it via the shoe on top of the A1 in the mount that came with it...worked pretty well. It makes the cam a little top heavy and not super probably for run and gun stuff, but I used it on a tripod.

It is great for outdoors, the furry cuts down just about any wind not strong enough to knock you down.

Chris Leong March 30th, 2009 08:15 PM

Paolo
Out of warranty HC1s cost at least $550 to fix, probably, in your case, more. Ouch!

Ethan Cooper March 30th, 2009 08:29 PM

Geez Monday, what are you buying now?

Oh and BTW guys and gals, Monday is a good guy to do business with.

Monday Isa March 30th, 2009 08:40 PM

LOL! I'm getting the HMC150. I'll use that one for a year and see what new cam will come that I can buy.

Chris Davis March 30th, 2009 08:44 PM

Oops, too bad I missed it. I'm still looking.

George Bean March 30th, 2009 08:55 PM

just got to the forum late today, crazy monday : )

I will try to get some pics of the cam posted tomorrow. I do have an event to record sunday,
my wife volunteered me for a church program. so the cam would be ready to ship by next monday, thanks.

Dave Blackhurst March 30th, 2009 10:50 PM

Hi Paulo -
To have it fixed is pretty expensive, but even damaged goods sell for silly prices on eBay...

If you dont' go that route and decide to toss it, I'd be interested in another project... but right now have too many projects and not enough $$!

I know I've got the service manual around here somewhere for the HC1/A1U! If you like to tinker with small fiddly things, I think it was once posted elsewhere on DVi, if it's not here anymore let me know if you want it!

Adam Haro March 30th, 2009 11:42 PM

Sony HD1000U

Looking for a used Sony HD1000U.

Paulo Teixeira March 31st, 2009 01:27 AM

When I first read the $550, the first thing that popped to my head was SOLD!!

OK, I obviously want the most amount of money possible just like anybody else so if someone gives me $400, I will toss in my Aiptek A-HD. I have the successor, the A-HD+ so I don’t really need it. If you think that’s too high just give me an offer and the A-HD wont be included. Shipping is free regardless of how much I get and I‘ll include the original box, instructions, and the electrical cord.

Information I will add is that I already sent it off to Sony once to get the fire-wire port fixed and they did a full tune-up of the whole camcorder. Its just too bad it had to drop months after that. Also, the focusing ring got stiff after it fell.

I’ll only except a check or money order and if I do get a check, I will not send it off until the bank clears it.

If your interested, just send an email to:
SonyHC1for400@hotmail.com
If anyone has already sent me an email to a different email address than that’s fine. If you haven’t sent me anything yet, just use this address. I would like to keep everything in one place.

Tim Holder March 31st, 2009 05:04 AM

Less I need to sell these I will take 350 for both

I will take $ 350. 00 for both!!! WHAT A DEAL!!!
