Jim,

How old is the crane? On the Sky Crane website ther current "Junior" model is an 8 foot crane and the "Premeire" is the only one showing both five and ten feet.

Is your price still $500 or have you reduced it and does the price include freight?

Jon Ward April 29th, 2009 10:05 PM

Nope - everything in this group has been sold.

Thanks!

Digital Juice DVDs 51 Volumes

I've been going through my inventory of things I've bought for video work and have decided to get rid of these volumes, as a set. I don't use them as much as I initially thought I would. If they aren't being used, they are taking up shelf space.

All of the disks (many of the volumes include multiple disks) are in perfect shape, many of them have not even been removed from their packaging. The included volumes are...

You can view previews of the animations in each set at Digital Juice

I'm selling the items for $450, plus $20 shipping. I paid full price for several of them, so this price is quite a bit less than I paid for them combined. These are all the original disks, in their original packaging, not copies. If you were to buy these at full price (generally $49.99 unless you catch them on sale), you would pay over $2500.

If you have any questions, feel free to send me a pm.

(2 complete wireless systems! $350 for both! (Samson Micro32 Wireless)

I am consolidating down equipment and selling off two of my Samson Micro 32 Wireless systems. Selling Two Complete Systems for $350. Original price was well over $800.

The systems include:
2x Micro 32 receivers (Modified to take Sennheiser CA2 Shoemount. So you can mount your receivers on cameras cold shoe instead of using velcro.)
2x Micro 32 transmitters
2x mini XLR to XLR audio cables for receiver
2x AT lav mic with mini XLR connections for Micro 32 transmitter
1 mini XLR to 1/8 mini plug
1 Wireless Q7 handheld mic with built UHF32 transmitter
1 hard case that holds all units and accessories.

The units themselves are in excellent condition and everything works like new. I never had a problem with these units in 4 years of use. All of these units were purchased new.

PAYPAL payment is preferred and shipping will be provided by me, at no cost, either via USPS or UPS.

If needed I am more than happy to provide pictures.

Jim Giberti April 30th, 2009 02:39 PM

I can take pics if your serious.

The crane is a year old but has never been used. It's the top of the line setup, (don't know why I called it the Junior...it's the name I remember from the site I guess) aluminum, two stage 5' and 10' version with monitor arm, drive lever counter weight, two sets of cables etc. The tripod is also brand new never used and heavy duty. It's a brand new $1300 setup w/ all the options for $500.

Definitely not dropping the price. It's a killer deal for someone who's looking for a full crane/jib setup at a silly price and I'm glad to wait for that savvy person <g>.

I'm a longtime dvinfo member and I've done some great deals for friends here in the past.

Please email me directly, it's much easier than using the board.

You bet Trevor...didn't mean to be too snarky. Yeah I was surprised at how uninformative that site is right now but this is the heavy duty version. I believe it's rated for 350 lbs. No pictures because it's unassembled in the box, but it has everything but the deck which is a simple piece of 1" board. The instructions and videos say about an hour to build but that's subjective I'm sure. There are a number of threads on them here including some detailed assembly stories/pics.

It rides on cheap 2" or 1 1/2" inch PVC or metal pipe.

If your interested I can open it up and take pics.

Email me directly, it's easier than monitoring the board.

Oh man, wish this was up a week ago when I bought this lens.

Good luck with the sale!

Cesar Ruiz April 30th, 2009 03:08 PM

And I wish you hadn't bought yours a week ago!! LOL

Michael Galvan April 30th, 2009 03:11 PM

LOL, you and me both.

Let me add for those interested in this lens, that it is truly a fantastic lens. If you are looking for a standard zoom for a Canon APS-C camera, this is it!!!

I returned the awesome 24-70L f/2.8 to get this lens and am completely happy with it. The combination of a fixed f/2.8 + IS makes a huge difference and allows for shots that are just not possible with other zooms.

Very tempting. Realistically, what's the distance on the unit before it starts to break up? Samson says 300 feet, what's your experience been?

Overall, as long as you have the squelch adjusted properly, I haven't had any issues with distance. 300 feet I would say is definitely possible.

I have used them in Cathedrals, where I have to film in the rear balcony, which would be, believe it or not, approximately a football field away.

Obviously, you might have some issues here and there with transmission through walls and great distance. But with proper setup, I always perform a frequency sweep before filming, proper micing techniques, and these units being diversity I can't really remember having any drop out issues when using them.

The units have always performed flawlessly for me. Any issues that I might have had, like over modulation because I didn't set my padding properly, were due to, imagine this, user error.

Also, I also was never fond of Velcro mounting of anything, especially wireless units, so I even modified the receivers to take a Sennheiser cold shoe mount. So you can mount the receiver on any hot/cold shoe. This opens up a lot of mounting configurations for you over Velcro mounting, especially on the camera.

Michael,
What's the frequency range on these? I have a Sennhesier G2... how would these interact. or should I stick with Sennheiser. My G2 is "A" channel is the 500s. I need two more, so this would be perfect for me...

Bill, I believe that these units are in the 800 Mhz range so there is no interference with the A or B class Sennheisers (which BTW I also use the A class G2's).
Actually since the frequency is in the 800's is most likely a reason why I had never had any issues with them, as the 800 Mhz. bandwidth isn't widely populated or used.

As I just posted though, I do have a potential sale pending. So if it doesn't sell for some reason, I'll let you know.

Geardear Mattebox with, Frenchflag, Rails support and XHA1 mount

Hi Folks,

I have the following for sale:

- Geardear mattebox with a 4x4 rotating stage (the "small" pack)
- French flag
- Rails support clamp (60mm center to center)
- XHA1 Mount
- Donut

This can be used with a rail system with any camera or alternativlty has a clamp/mount system that allows it to be mounted directly to a Canon XHA1. It even allows for the autofocus sensor!

This is a lightweight, robust, modular system that can be upgraded and added to as your needs require. Add extra stages, side flags etc or replace mounts and parts as you need to.

I bought this for a project that didn't happen and is COMPLETELY UNUSED. Cost around £250 new.

Price: £140 + Actual Shipping

Beautiful JVC Pro GY-HD package (including a TH13x3.5BRMU, etc.) on sale

I am selling my like new JVC GY HD201E Pro HD camcorder (bought in April 2007, with 30 drum hours) and its standard Fujinon Th16x5.5BRM (like new) as a package together with the legendary Fujinon TH13x3.5BRMU wide angle lens (like new, perfect condition), a Marshall V-R70P-HDA field monitor for proper focus (like new), a Porta brace carrying bag CTC-2 (in very good condition), a TLS 15mm bar support for a matte box or a tele lens (like new), and a Blueshape battery pack of 100 Wh (like new) and its travel charger (like new).

The selling price is 8500 euros for the package. A great deal for the money, absolutely. And as you all know, the Fuji 13x is probably the best 1/3 inch lens available on the market.

Pictures available on request.

Greetings from Finland.
