Very nice prosumer HDV camcorder with XLR inputs, and 24p option.

This is a used Sony HVR-A1J (Japanese Version, and exactly same specs as A1U -U.S. version. Operating Manual is in English.) in a VERY GOOD condition. Never had a problem, and no scratches on the body. Kept it in a Hard Case since purchased. Purchased for weddings, and used for about 5-7 weddings and some other miscellaneous events. I am selling it to upgrade my equipments.

After that you can pay me for hosting or move it to any of a nearly infinite number of hosting companies.

Hey Justin,

I used it succesfully with a vx1000 back in the day, and according to the article below, they are the same weight 3.1 lbs.

According to this article, the glidecam 1000 is recommended for camcorders up to 5.5 lbs (I've also heard 6 lbs).

I don't know what these monopods look like. Is it too much to ask for pictures? I don't care if it looks like new or not. Does it come with fluid head or do I need to buy one. I just need one that I can start using right away. I'm a newbie.
