Would you be willing to sell the 16x separate? If so, how much?

14x XL1 MANUAL LENS FOR SALE!

I have a 14x XL1 manual lenses for sale. I bought two figuring I'd use them exclusively over my stock lenses, but have barely used either of them at all. Supermint quality.

Anyway, I need a new tripod among other things, like more lights, a better mic, digital SLR, laptop, you know how it is, always the toys...
So you can get yourself a like new Canon 14x lens for $800. My personal money back garuantee if there is anything wrong with it. Paypal accepted and preferred. Buyer pays shipping.

VERY OPEN TO TRADES, especially for tripods or the other things I've mentionned above.

GL2

Could I use it with my GL2 or would it be overkill?

Sorry to hear about your sholder. I ruined my back lifting a patient on a call so now holding a camera for long is a uh, pain.

Am intersted in the V8.

Jeff Donald July 18th, 2003 08:12 AM

It offers long term comfort. The weight is distributed off your arm to your hips, etc. The weight is not a strain on the shoulder, but I don't have 100% range of motion. I would not term it overkill. It will allow for much longer shots and a greater range of motion control over the smaller units. It also provides an upgrade path should you replace the GL2 with a larger camera. Your also learning a professional skill set.

Feedback

Just thought I'd drop a vote of confidence for Michel; he sold me his other vx2000 2 weeks ago and he was great to deal with... buy with confidence.

I'll give a blind endorsement here; anyone thinking about buying a handheld-type stabilizer for their XL1 or similar weighted camera, this is a MUCH better way to go. And if you were already sold on the V-8 and wanted to buy used, you'd be way ahead of the game buying from Jeff than from a random eBay seller.

Jeff, that's a bummer about your shoulder. Hope it heals well, and soon.

(p.s. my Installer issue continues to baffle--have already done an hour on the phone with a freelance Mac troubleshooter to no avail...!)

Andrew Petrie July 21st, 2003 08:20 AM

It's too bad I already have my V16. I could have saved myself a big chunk of change!
