Lenses for Canon DSLRs
Hey people,
My wife is "allowing" me to upgrade to a few L lenses so I have a few to sell. All of these lenses have been purchased in the last 2-3 months and 2 of the 3 come in the original box. They are as follows: Canon 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 $250 - New at BH $400 + tax Sigma 10-20mm 4-5.6 -New at BH $480 + tax Sigma 24-135mm 3.5-5.6 - I purchased this used for $275, will let it go for $225 They are all in mint condition and work really well. |

Windows Vista Ultimate (retail)
I no longer use this, so I thought I'd offer it for sale. I have a retail copy (bought at Costco) of Windows Vista Ultimate, which comes with both the 32 bit disc and 64 bit disc. With my new machine I moved to Windows 7, but got a deal on a full version, so I don't need to keep Windows Vista for upgrade compliance.
If anyone is interested, I'll sell it within the U.S. for $85 with free UPS Ground. |
Craig, unless I'm mistaken, Vista cannot legally used on any PC other than the original one it was installed on. When it was activated Microsoft recorded the configuration of the machine it was on, and unless the PC is nearly exactly the same, particularly the MB, it will not allow activation. I switched motherboards and microsoft would not allow me to activate, even after calling numerous times.
I don't know that it is illegal to sell your copy, but the person who buys it will be out of luck. |

I just spoke to the seller by phone (who picked up on the first ring) and he told me there was indeed a problem with this shipment -- apparently the package sat in a postal center for nearly a month with insufficient postage to go overseas. It was returned to the seller, who has rearranged shipping. Kees should have it within ten or twelve days or so. I've sent the tracking number to him via email. Hope this helps,

Still for sale. Make me an offer.

Jeff,
Thanks for your concern. Microsoft originally designed Vista with that limitation. However, after outcries from PC enthusiasts that often modify their hardware on their systems, they removed the limitation. That was back in 2006. As per Microsoft's position on reselling a used copy of Vista, it is allowed as long as you are selling a RETAIL version of Vista and not an OEM version. Mine is retail. Vista can be installed and reinstalled as many times as needed on ANY hardware that is compatible with it, whether or not it is uninstalled from the other machine previously, though legally one is required to only have it on ONE system at a time. So yes, it is perfectly legal for me to resell my copy, and any potential buyer would not be "out of luck" if purchasing from me. |
Nebtek NEB70HDS-EX 7" monitor EX1/3
4 Attachment(s)
Nebtek NEB70HDS-EX HD-SDI and YPbPr Monitor with New Sony B series battery adapter. Purchased this monitor for a project last year and have used total of twice.
Was upgraded from Nebtek with new firmware shortly after purchase last summer. It accepts Sony EX1/3 style BPU batteries but also powers via AC adapter or 4-Pin XLR. It is without a doubt the best looking and most feature packed monitor in its price range. For more info on all its specs click here. Includes AC adapter (not pictured) Velcro protective cover (not pictured) 2 x 4-pin XLR to DTap (powercon) cables for powering off Anton Bauer style batteries 30" BNC cable Ultralight hotshoe clamp and mount for mounting monitor all original packaging and manual Still under warranty until March (probably longer since it went in for upgrade)\ I paid over $2200 for this package and price hasn't really dropped from Nebtek. Looking to get $2000 OBO. Please PM me with any questions. |
Many thanks
Chris, I already thanked you via email. But I want to thank you here in public again. Many, many thanks. Now I can look out for my new gear again.
