I've used this camcorder only about five times. Since i've bought T2i, I didn't use it... bought in last winter. I can include DOF adoptor with canon 50mm f/1.8 (the focusing wheel? is not smooth, but works). Moreover the lens stuck into adoptor, so i don't know how to remove it.

I am looking for a new lens. I am looking for either one of these Canon lenses:
16-35 - f/2.8
24-70 - f/2.8
17-55 - f/2.8
17-40 - f/4 ~ Not my top choice, but I might be interested.

I have a limited budget, I am a student. I dont work, so I dont have a lot to spend. So I the BEST I can do is $850 CAD. - preferably shipped if possible.

If you are on a budget, you should make the 17-40 f4 your top choice. It's the only one you are going to find easily under $850. With a bit of patience you can probably find one for $650, and pick up a used Tamron 28-80 f2.8 for $250, covering 2 bases for the price of one.
