Thanks.............. how long ago did you see that?

Fry'soutpost has nothing listed......... I'll check the local store tonight.

edit: The fine folks (LOL) at Fry's told me to go pound sand. "No HC1 for you!" Darn, I was really looking forward to another real fine Fry's CS experience.

I can't figure out how to edit the post, but after looking at some prices I think I'm overshooting with the $4500 for the camera and lens. $4100 sound more reasonable. If anyone has bought a lightly used XL-2 and/or lens let me know if that price is reasonable.

Thanks,

Jamie

Sold the D70 with lens. Lots of interest in the VX2100 but nothing firm yet. PS2 also looks like it is gone.

Lowel V, Lowel Stand, Umbrella, Reflector & More!

Ideal for simple interviews on the run, the 500 watt instrument has plenty of punch. Lowel Stand, SP translucent umbrella, very used Photoflex Silver / Black Reflector with cover and 8 new replacement reflectors for the Lowel V. The Tenba Bag is in great shape and holds everything but the Photoflex Reflector.

All these goodies for only $150 plus shipping.

I also have a Chimera Speed Ring if you want to use the V with a softbox. I am selling that for $80. That is $40 less than the B&H price.

Is this the 15" or the 17"?
Give me 10 days to sell my 17" PB G4 and I might be able to swing it!

Jim Karrels June 30th, 2006 05:30 PM

My bad -- this is the 15.4", NOT the 17"

fs: denecke ps1a portable single channel 48v phantom power supply

i bought this at trew audio about a year ago. it operates on a single 9v battery and provides power to microphones that require 48v phantom power. i used this with cameras that did not have native 48v phantom power capability, and it's proven itself to be an extremely reliable, rugged, and portable power solution.
asking $80 firm (+ actual shipping + 3% paypal).

Hi Henry, you got email for the 48V phantom power supply. Thanks

Xavier Etown June 30th, 2006 09:40 PM

Sorry to hear John. But I did see that price in the store on June 7 and it sure looked tempting.

So did the Fry's folks say they were out of stock for good or that they wouldn't give you that price?
