FS: Buffalo Link Theater HD player

The Buffalo Link Theater is a traditional DVD player with the added features listed below. This is the "full sized" player and not the new "mini" that does not inlcude a DVD player.

-Upsamples DVDs to 720 or 1080i depending on your setup
-plays HD mpgs, HD wmv files and just about any format you can imagine
-plays from DVDs, CDs, external USB or network. (even streams ripped DVDs from PC)
-wired or wireless ethernet connection
-also plays music files, cd audio, dolby digital, DTS, etc.

The reason I bought this was for my HVX200. I could edit on my PC. Author a HD mpg file (or wmv) and burn it to a standard DVD data disc. When you place the DVD into the player you simply see a list of files. you click on the one you want and it plays. In glorious HD. Works like a champ.

I recently started saving my HD mpgs and wmv files to a portable hard drive and used it to play via the USB port too. I also stream these from my PC directly to the player. It is very versatile and a realistic way to view your files on your HDTV.

The reason I am selling it? I recently built a Media Center PC and found out it can stream HD video to my XBOX360 and I use that to view my HD edited footage. The XBOX 360 will not upsample DVDs however and it will not play divx and non standard Mpg2 and wmv files. Not a big deal to me....but other may need to play other formats and the Link Theater delivers.

I paid $300 for this badboy in May. I am selling for $175 plus paypal fees if you choose paypal.

email me with any questions.

Thanks.

Dear David,

Are there really two versions of the FU-1000 viewfinder, one NTSC and one pal? I was not aware that there were two separate versions.

Hi Dan,

I noticed an FU 1000 for sale and the seller (from the UK) spoke about how it was an NTSC version but he managed to change a few settings and convert it to a PAL version. So I assume they come in both versions - hence my specific request for a PAL version.

I would be interested in any comments from others on this issue.

Canon XL-H1 for sale with extra 16x manual lens

Sadly I have to part with my near new XL-H1. I bought it in mid June and have hardly used it. I had just sold my house and ended up moving 2 times in 2 months so I barely have had time to use it. I am finally settled down in a new house and unfortunately money is super tight so I must make sacrifices.

Here is what I have:

Canon XL-H1 with all accessories included in original box.
Canon 16x manual lens
Tamrac Bag that holds XL-H1 and accessories including extra lens

I need to get $7600 for the entire kit.
I will not sell the lens seperate unless I sell the H1 first.
The Tamrac Bag cost me $250 but I am including it at no charge.

The H1 with Tamrac Bag without the extra lens will be $7100.

I have barely used this. I may have shot 10 hours tops.
Let me know via email if you are interested. I need to clear the amounts listed so while I will accept Paypal we will need to add on 3% for fees. If you check my history you will see that I have sold 2-3 high end cameras through here and I have never scammed anyone. In short you can trust me.

Peace!

That's for an FS-4 by itself.
Note the "extra battery". Not cheap.

Bob Sandifer October 17th, 2006 07:09 PM

ok..even thought there is no interest in this package I need to say I put another hour on the heads this past weekend shooting some paintball action.

I also needed to mention that I would throw in a copy of final cut express with this package.

Danny Jones October 17th, 2006 07:32 PM

I sent you email...you get it?

I am also sending it in the box it came in with all of the accessories minus the DV tape and the Magic Bullet Software. You will, however, be getting Barry's DVX book. I've also included a brand new Tiffen 72mm UV filter.

Asking price: $2700.00 which includes shipping UPS.

Someone step up and give this little guy a worthy home. Thanks.

Canon Optura 60 for sale

These were from Magnolia Audio Video which are a authorized dealer of Canon. Brand new in box never used.

I was able to get 4 of these and am keeping 2 of them.

I love my Canon Optura 60 and thought I would help others locate some available since they are hard to come by.

Date on invoice from Magnolia Audio Video is 8/31/06 so you have lots of time left on that 1 yr warranty, just send in the card.

I may list one of these on eBay but the other is available to others here on a first come first serve basis. Make me a reasonable offer. These are currently going for $400 - 600 now on eBay, best offer by Monday gets the item.

I can be best contacted via email via this forum.
