I figure it can't hurt to ask. Some people out there may have the FU1000 and feel it's proper, but I do get your point.

FS: Micro35 DIY adapter with Canon FD mount and rail system
Moving on to another project, I am selling my 35mm adapter and steel rail system:
Picture of kit Here is what the kit contains: 1) One 35mm spinning adapter made after the Micro35. It features: - Adjustable Canon FD lens mount - DCX (condenser lens) - Quality macro assembly (achromat) with 72mm ring - Potentiometer to control motor speed and reduce power consumption - Materials: ABS tubing and aluminum - Works on two AA batteries inside the unit 2) Rod support system - Aluminum/stainless steel - 13” long stainless steel rods (tubes, actually) - Two 1/8” aluminum shims - 1/4-20 hole and thumbscrew for tripod mounting 3) Five optical acrylic, laser-cut GG discs + Redrock M1 GG - Three sandblasted discs with different degrees of diffusion - Two “virgin” discs for you to sand or grind to your taste - Disc Thickness: 1mm and 1.5mm I am also including a 50mm Canon FL F/1.4 lens, with front and rear caps. This lens, however, has issues: the diaphragm (iris) is not working and there is an anomaly (circle) in the glass towards the back. The glass anomaly has no visible effect on performance. Still, this lens, being an FL, is pretty sharp and will work very well indoors. All you need to start using the adapter is an adapter ring to 72mm and, maybe, extra shims to bring your camcorder to the desired height. More pics: Adapter on rails 1 Adapter on rails 2 Adapter with Panasonic GS400 And, clips: Indoors Outdoors PS: I could have zoomed in a bit more in the last clip... I am asking $340 + UPS shipping. If you are interested, please email me at poet at videotron.ca. |

Mine is really close to new, only 25 hours on it (if even that). Didn't use it much... I listed it at $2800.
