who did you send them to? i haven't recived anything, but i dont think you sent them to me.

also, any email i ahve sent through this site has worked quickly and easily.

David Mesloh September 30th, 2006 02:51 PM

Sorry for the delay in responding

I've been out of town on a family situation. just got back in town to check e-mails. the lens has already been purchased.

Marty Hudzik September 30th, 2006 03:29 PM

To clarify, I sent the emails to David who is selling (sold) the lens. I am still wondering if he ever got them. I also have sent emails through this site to 2 others who are selling and have gotten no response. In the past when I was selling an item I didn't get 4-5 emails for a week. They all came after I sold it, yet they were sent while I still had it for sale.

Sorry for any confusion. It just stinks if you send an email to buy an item and then the seller never gets it. Hopefully this is not the case this time

Peace!

XLH1 for sale, very low time

Hi

I am selling my XLH1 which has an estimated 10 hrs or less on it.
I have arranged with canon service to read out and document the
usage as proof.

There is nothing wrong with it and it has been stored in a hard shell
pelican case since I got it.

My reason for selling is simple, I had bought it for a project that fell
through and I held on to it hoping to rent it out... I have had no luck
there either...

Please contact me directly at chuck at shadysidepa.com

Thanks

Chuck

Need to sell my Sony HC1! Any ideas on price?

Hey everyone!
It's been a while since I've posted but gald to be back!

Unfortunately times are a'changin as well as my needs so I have decided
to put my Sony HC1 Camcorder up for sale so that I can purchase a new laptop
that I really do need much more than my camcorder right now!

I have a great package and will list everything that is included.

I am curious to find out from some of you what this package might be worth.

I plan to put it up on Ebay but would like some of your opinions as to what I should
take minimum for it.

Here is what is included:

* Sony HC1 HD Camcorder (with all cables, remote control and strap)
* A1U Lens Hood with lens cover (I purchased through Sony Broadcast division for $70)
* HC1 lens hood with lens cover (I kept it as an extra just in case!)
* BeachTek DXA-2s XLR Audio Adapter
* Sony HVL-20DW2 10w/20w portable light with cold shoe bracket
* 2 Sony NP-QM71D Batteries
* 1 Sony NP-FM50 Battery
* 1 Sony BCT-RM Portable battery charger
* Sony 16mb memory stick pro duo
* Rode VideoMic with custom made cold shoe adapter to mount on top of HC1
* KATA CC-191 Bag
* 8' XLR Cable

I really hate to have to sell it because I love the camera and my setup which
I was very proud to put together. But right now I have to set my priorities straight.
So, what do you all think I can get for this on Ebay?
I would really appreciate your feedback!

Thanks in advance!

Yes I know. I've got a quote on a set of Master Primes and the LWZ-1.
For our business we have to decide whether to go that way or Zeiss Digi-prime/Zoom combo.

Each choice has their merits. Costs are in ballpark of each other.
If we go Zeiss we cater to the RED but only as a 2/3" option but can outfit our other HD cams with Zeiss.

If we go Arri we maximise the potential of RED and can also dry hire to film productions which is still a larger market than HD. Add a P&S 35 and we can also add new option for our HD camera inventory.

Too early for me to make the call on such a large investment. We'll have to see what the market reaction is to the RED and who is using it for what and what accessories are expected.

Certainly a 2/3" mount sooner rather than later would be appreciated!

I'm betting Super Speed MKIII sets are scarce as. Good luck with your hunt!

Canon EOS XT (350D) W/18-55 II lens $600

Mint and boxed as when purchased new. All papers, manuals, cd's etc all still in shrink wrap......$600 takes it. (Black body)

The lens is the II lens which was an updated lens- sharper in mid-range than previous lens.

Yes, Super Speed MKIII are non-existent on the used market, its hard enough to find MKII's. I recently passed on a set at $25k....they sold an hour later.

Any reason you are looking at Master Primes over Ultra Primes? Ultra Primes are much cheaper and IMO look better. Master Primes are too sharp...wow cant believe thats a problem, but I like the look of UP's.

I think I'll just go ahead and order a new set of UP's...cant seem to find anything used and been looking for over 6 months.

BTW- what is the LWZ going for?

Abdulla Bastaki October 2nd, 2006 08:05 AM

which is why it ain't a bad idea to make an adapter for them canon lenses... if ure a big zeiss.. leica fan.. you could get used 35mm still photo lenses and make a pl mount for em..

if canon lenses are good enough for a 16.7 megapixel camera .. they sure would be good enough for a 12mp one.

the complications would be controlling the aperature.. canon lenses have shuttering aperatures.. so keeping the aperature on is one.. and the other is controlling it. adding a nice adaptive focus sorta thing on to the adapter would be awesome. and if ure onto something big.. and you can't risk it.. you can always rent super speeds.. cooke's.. you can purchase a set of primes for around 10k for mkII zeiss primes.. i think.. not sure. ull get a set of 6 lenses.. or maybe 7.

Yep. This has happened to me recently as well.
Makes it pretty difficult doesn't it?

I find it hard to believe that several sellers are choosing to not respond simultaneously, although it could be a conspiracy. 8-/

Nick Medrano October 2nd, 2006 07:26 PM

Nick Medrano October 2nd, 2006 07:27 PM

Still available. I'll throw in all the TIFFEN filters for free.

Nick Medrano October 2nd, 2006 07:31 PM

Willing to sell for $150. Let me know if interested. Very good condition and only used once.

Nick Medrano October 2nd, 2006 07:32 PM

Update: Received offer of $400. Will close as soon as I get confirmation that check is on the way. If anyone is interested in beating this price, let me know by tonight.

Nick Medrano October 2nd, 2006 07:41 PM

This is still available...had several offers, but still not quite satisfied due to the great condition of this tripod.

By the way, some have been asking about the Fluid Head. It is a FLUID HEAD with full 360 movement and a leveling bubble. The pans are super smooth--a very good tripod. See this chart for more info:

http://www.bhphotovideo.com/FrameWor...luidHeads.html

It's a true fluid head. One thing I did when I was doing research for a tripod for my Panasonic DVX100 was that I did not want to spend the big price for a BOGEN tripod. I tried out all the tripods I could at the stores (even went to BHPhoto Video in New York) and finally settled on this one. Personally, I thought it was better than the ones in the 1000 price range.

If you have any questions, let me know. Thanks for asking.

Tony Tibbetts October 2nd, 2006 08:41 PM

It is the Letus35 flip enhanced. Not the LetusXL. I could post some pictures if absolutely necessary, but it's the same exact one thats on Quyens website here:
