Six listed on Ebay right now. Lowest "buy it now" price is $825 plus shipping. That's pretty much the going rate for used 3x lenses.

Josh,

You might want to check with Marty Hudzik. Check out his FS thread here:

I'll actually step in here and save you the trouble. In my situation I would be willing to break up the kit and sell the 16x seperate but I would want to have the XL2 body and main lens sold first. The 16x manual is my main lens and if I don;t sell the body I don;t think I could personally live with just the servo lens.

If that happens I'd probably want to sell the 16x lens and the .7x WA angle adapter as a kit since the WA adapter is for the 16x manual only. I haven't had any hits on that sale yet so we'll see how it goes.

Thanks for the referal Joel. Good luck on your auction. I checked it out earlier.

Hey Marty,

What would you charge for both the 16x lens and the .7 wide angle adapter for it?

Send me an email at JCaldwell182@comcast.net

FS: DSR-11 DVCAM deck (Toronto)

We are cleaning house and "movin' on up" to some more HD gear, so we have decided to part with some of the SD stuff.
We're also selling a PAL XL2 body and a Sony BetacamSP camera.

For sale: Sony DSR-11 DVCAM deck
http://bssc.sel.sony.com/Professiona...ures/dsr11.pdf

Comes with original box, vertical stand, power supply and remote control.

Asking $1600 CANADIAN ($1300 U.S.) or best offer.

The deck has spent most of its time as a "throughput" firewire converter for monitoring DV on an external monitor. The operation hours are high for this reason, but the actual tape run hours are moderately low.
For the most part this deck has only ever played Panasonic MQ tapes recorded by a DVX100. I've never had a head clog.
The other nice thing is that it is PAL/NTSC switchable and will play/record DV, miniDV, or DVCAM tapes. It has 4-pin firewire, composite in/out, s-video in/out, and RCA stereo in/out. It also has an EE option for digitizing straight from analog sources like DVD or VHS.

Hours meter:
OPERATION
392 x10H
DRUM RUN
41 x10H
TAPE RUN
30 x10H

THREADING
134 x10

FS: XL2 16x Manual Servo Lens

Purchased late June 2005, arrived early July 2005. Has never been taken outside, and has basically just been on my XL2 about half of the time in a private office where only I used it. I would guess that the lens has less than 7 to 8 hours of use total.

Mint to Excellent +++ condition.

I paid $1,350 for it when I bought it new from Brian Longley at http://www.ZotzDigital.com, and he let me know he would be happy to verify this.

I'd like to sell it for $1,200

I did a search on eBay and there was only one at the time that I looked and the seller wanted $1,095 for it.

I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have and send you additional pictures if you like. The photos posted below may take a little longer to load because they are in 1280 x 960 size. I figured that anyone interested would like to see higher res images:

http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic1.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic2.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic3.html (a little blurry, but you get the picture... pun intended)
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic4.html
http://www.thisis24p.com/16x-pic5.html

Specific Photos of the Lens are available upon request.

I still have the box and every single item it came with, such as the case, paperwork, lens caps, etc. Although I did have to cut the UPC off the box to send to Canon (didn't cut the box all the way through, just took the top layer off as precisely as I could).

I did notice a couple of forum members posting WTB's for this lens, so I will send them an email with a link to this classified as well.

Why am I selling it?
Good question. I'd want to know the same so here's why -
I've found out that I can do everything I want with the 20x that came stock with the Canon and would like to get a new Canon 3x lens or a .7x Century Adaptor to do some greenscreen work, so I can put the camera closer to the subject. Looking at some of my latest posts will verify this.
