umm first off you dont want to get a screw version (more vignetting) and less stable especially if you're using it to shoot skating.
your best bet is to contact century up front and ask them to special order you a MK1 intermediate which is bayo and made for the vx2k. Or like you said the next best thing is buy a mk1 for the vx1k and then unscrew the bayo and send it to a machinist 50$ job and have him cut to the bayo ears to fit the vx2k. ive seen vid grabs of that setup and its the same width and distortion as the vx1/mk1. |
