By the way, the extra $50 is for shipping and insurance.

XL1s 4 Sale or what can I get for it!?

Hi,

I have a Canon XL1s here for sale, how much could I get for this bad boy.
There is nothing wrong with, it was on four shoots. I still have the original packaging.
It’s a PAL system. I want to upgrade my camera or even go to a different format
So maybe it will help me on my next investment.

bump! anyone!?

Jacob Ehrichs October 17th, 2004 02:09 PM

I'd say roughly $2200-$2600 US. There's an XL1s NTSC in the classifieds for $2200 and recently serviced by Canon. That's a great deal for the buyer.

Looks like the euro is about 1.24 to the dollar so I'd say about 2700 to 3225 euros.

The demand for the xl1s isn't really going down per say, just that with new equipment out there buyers aren't willing to spend as much as they used to for them.

But then again, your guess is as good as mine.

DVX100, not 100a, right?

Kevin Foristal October 17th, 2004 07:34 PM

how many hours? I am getting ready to do a doc. Would like to know usage though. It is an awesome price

Kevin Foristal October 17th, 2004 07:39 PM

is this PAL or NTSC?

Tony Hall October 17th, 2004 09:41 PM

Could you tell about the hours and condition. How's the body and lens?

Nick V. Bicanic October 18th, 2004 12:06 AM

indeed - not the 100A

that price for the 100A would be a little daft.

Sold.

Kevin James October 18th, 2004 06:01 AM

Anything is possible.

Bill Ravens October 18th, 2004 06:57 AM

The lens is brand new because I removed it right after I bought the camera and used a 16x manual. The body has very low hours, and the tape transport has practically no hours because I've used a capture to disk device with this camera. I don't think the transport has more than 5 hours on it. I use Panasonic tape, exclusively, never used any other brand.

This camera is potentially sold. If the agreement falls thru, I'll re-post here.

Lower price for HD10u package deal.

I'm going to lower the price to $2999.99...amazing deal because they're still selling it for that price everywhere without all these extra goodies!
