I suspect you'll have to sell the GL2 first. Why would anyone trade down and take such a loss?

Benny Ek October 16th, 2004 10:07 PM

Ok $450.00
This seriously an amazing set of sticks!!

Magiqcam Series II w/ Case and Magiqdog

I'm thinking about selling my Magiqcam Series II with it's case and low mode. It's really a hard decision, but there's something else I want to buy right now. I only used it once to balance it and walk around the house.

I figured I'd give people here a chance to get it before I stick it on Ebay. So, I'll wait a week or two and see if any of you want to buy it. Everything is in brand new condition.

Here's what's for sale:

Magiqcam Series II complete package: $2100
Magiqdog: $200
Magiqcam case: $100

I'll sell the whole thing and ship it for $2450 including insurance.

"Hell, that's what they sell for at the Magiqcam website, why would I want to buy yours?"

If you buy it off of me, I can have it to you in about three business days. If you order it from Anamagique, you'll be waiting at least 8 weeks. They say 4 weeks on the website, but everyone that I've talked to here had to wait at least 8 weeks and sometimes longer.

I only take PayPal and I'll ship it UPS by the next business day after I get payment.

Tony Hall October 16th, 2004 10:31 PM

I'll give you $2K right now. I can pay you via PayPal.

David Mesloh October 16th, 2004 10:44 PM

price is firm

Sorry Tony. $2500 was a good price. $2400 was even better. At $2200.... it's a steal. Price is firm now. If Matthew doesn't buy it, you'll have first right of refusal. I should hear back from him Sunday.

David

Tony Hall October 16th, 2004 11:48 PM

By the way, the extra $50 is for shipping and insurance.

XL1s 4 Sale or what can I get for it!?

Hi,

I have a Canon XL1s here for sale, how much could I get for this bad boy.
There is nothing wrong with, it was on four shoots. I still have the original packaging.
It’s a PAL system. I want to upgrade my camera or even go to a different format
So maybe it will help me on my next investment.

John Garcia October 17th, 2004 12:34 PM

bump! anyone!?

Jacob Ehrichs October 17th, 2004 02:09 PM

I'd say roughly $2200-$2600 US. There's an XL1s NTSC in the classifieds for $2200 and recently serviced by Canon. That's a great deal for the buyer.

Looks like the euro is about 1.24 to the dollar so I'd say about 2700 to 3225 euros.

The demand for the xl1s isn't really going down per say, just that with new equipment out there buyers aren't willing to spend as much as they used to for them.

But then again, your guess is as good as mine.

Kevin James October 17th, 2004 04:58 PM

DVX100, not 100a, right?

Kevin Foristal October 17th, 2004 07:34 PM

how many hours? I am getting ready to do a doc. Would like to know usage though. It is an awesome price

Kevin Foristal October 17th, 2004 07:39 PM

is this PAL or NTSC?

Tony Hall October 17th, 2004 09:41 PM

Could you tell about the hours and condition. How's the body and lens?

Nick V. Bicanic October 18th, 2004 12:06 AM

indeed - not the 100A

that price for the 100A would be a little daft.

nick

Tommy Haupfear October 18th, 2004 04:41 AM

Sold.

Kevin James October 18th, 2004 06:01 AM

Anything is possible.

Bill Ravens October 18th, 2004 06:57 AM

The lens is brand new because I removed it right after I bought the camera and used a 16x manual. The body has very low hours, and the tape transport has practically no hours because I've used a capture to disk device with this camera. I don't think the transport has more than 5 hours on it. I use Panasonic tape, exclusively, never used any other brand.

This camera is potentially sold. If the agreement falls thru, I'll re-post here.

Christopher C. Murphy October 18th, 2004 08:49 AM

Lower price for HD10u package deal.

I'm going to lower the price to $2999.99...amazing deal because they're still selling it for that price everywhere without all these extra goodies!

the problem is everybody is waiting for the sony and you are just 600 $ under.
need to be patient....

Lawrence Stevens October 18th, 2004 10:51 AM

Hi Richard

I have emailed you with some details, I don't know if you have got them - I used your email from your profile.

Let me know if you did not get the more detailed email!

Regards
Lawrence

Christopher C. Murphy October 18th, 2004 10:55 AM

It's a package deal, so I think it's well worth the investment. If someone wants to get the FX1 - they'll to have all the other gear already or they'll have to buy it. (including XLR converter which is included on my HD10u)

If anyone needs a full HDV package cheap...this is it.

Dan Lahav October 18th, 2004 11:10 AM

Marco Leavitt October 18th, 2004 12:23 PM

How loud is this camera? Is it quiet enough to record dialog without the camera being heard?

Richard Hardbattle October 18th, 2004 01:22 PM

Thanks for the e-mail - I'm having a think....!

Sony PDX-10 For Sale

Hi Guys,
I have a Sony PDX-10 I need to sell. It comes with all the original accesories as well as a hard case and an extra long life battery. The camera works perfect, I have since upgraded so it never gets used anymore. Im asking $1500 I can email you pictures etc. if you need.

Thanks
Mike

Matt Stahley October 18th, 2004 02:10 PM

Mike about how many hours are on the cam?
thanks

Mike Pendola October 18th, 2004 02:18 PM

I would say probably about 25 hours or so. Works as good as the day I bought it :)

Mike

John Garcia October 18th, 2004 07:19 PM

Marco,

The camera is a blimpless, silenced camera with noise level 29.5dB at 3'. It's one of the main reasons I originally bought the camera because it is quiet enough to shoot and I could crystal sync it with my audio recorder.

I am actually posting this for a friend, so if you are interested, or have any questions, please feel free to ask. He is a great guy and takes great care of his equipment.

Bests,

John

Sold yet?

Have you sold this yet?

Gabrielle Talley October 18th, 2004 10:02 PM

Still for sale

What's the going price and the accessories with this? Is it still for sale

Ken Tanaka October 18th, 2004 10:09 PM

John,
As the old adage goes, "If you don't ask, you don't get.". I wish you luck.

You're the second person to ask for such consideration in the past week or two. But individuals selling their gear aren't finance companies so you have to be realistic. A seller would have absolutely no recourse in the event you defaulted on your payments. (An eventuality strongly suggested by your "struggling student" remark.)

I advise you to either save for a camera (the best course) or to obtain a credit card or a conventional loan.

NCE - FS: iPaq 1940

Not Camera Equipment – I have a brand new HP iPaq 1940 for sale. This link will take you to the HP 1940 page with all the important specs . I can send you pictures if you’re interested. The unit is a warranty replacement. I have only powered it on once to make sure it works. I will include a usb cradle, two batteries, 2x 128mn SD cards, and a metal hard case. I looking for about $350 CND ( something like $270 USD ), and would prefer to ship in Canada, but it doesn’t really matter.

I don’t really have much history here. I sold my 10d two month ago here, but nothing other then that.

Send me an e-mail at hydromedusa@shaw.ca
