I just happened to be on DVInfo.net when I saw your post pop up selling your used VF Gadget mount for an EX3, and I was curious why you're offloading it. I wondered if you had found something better for your rig? If so I'd be curious what that might be, as I like to keep up on what people are learning from the gear they've worked with, what they like & dislike, what's new and best and so on. I'm wondering how you liked the VF Gadgets one and how it compares overall to other setups.

Let me think about it. I have to consider whether no bag will hinder my ability to sell it on ebay. It also protects the tripod in shipping...

The bag cost $107 new. What would you be willing to pay for it? It is excellent condition.

I bought a 504HD and 535K kit off eBay last week for super cheap; just need a bag to keep it nice and safe. Kind of a strange auction, but from a reputable seller so I suppose theres a chance it could come with a bag. We'll see when it arrives on Thursday....some might call me a gambler.

Anyways, I'd offer you $75 for the bag if you're willing to part.

Hey Pete, none of my business, but having a huge eBay rating, my experience is...

Most ebay buyers see stuff like bags as a freebie and won't bid much higher because its included. I'd bet a buck you'd get exactly the same for it with or without and would take Nate's $75 (or at least come back with $80) ;)

Packages are almost always worth splitting up (with some exceptions).
