Brian,

I'll be in SD near Edgemont just south of Rapid City on Monday. I know a guy there who is new to the video scene and looking for a GL2. I sent him an email about your rig. Email me your phone number if you would. Thanks.

FS: Steadicam Merlin

Due to other recent purchases I am selling the Merlin I purchased a few weeks ago. I purchased it for a shoot but did not have time to fully setup and learn how to use it. Since then we've had to purchase other items such as Cineform Aspect (which is awesome by the way) and some lighting gear.

The Merlin is in like new condition, all original accessories and box included.

Asking $725. Paypal fees and ground shipping to continental 48 included in price.

Thank you,
Dave Uriarte

FS: Matrox RT.X2 & X1950 Pro (512mb)

Matrox RT.X2 HDV Editing Card (No Adobe software) Includes all included components and breakout box plus:
DVD (RT.X2 Revealed)
Antex card fan that fills two PCI slots (This kept the card between 39-45 degrees)

I'm asking 1150.00 and will include regular FED Ex. shipping insured. I can take Paypal.

Powercolor X1950 Pro (512 meg) This is validated video card on the Matrox site.
I'm asking $150 and will include regular FED Ex. shipping insured. I can take Paypal.

If you buy both I'll take another $50.00 off the price.

I purchased the RT.X2 card on July 10, 2007 from Videoguys with plans to use it for a large multicam project. Due to special audio requirements I've decided to use Sony Vegas and this card is overkill for the other types of editing I do. I'm keeping the Adobe suite so this is good for someone that already has Premiere etc. and just needs the card. I only had it installed in my computer for a brief time to do some testing. It worked fine.

I spoke to Matrox and they said the 3-year warranty is fully transferable. I will unregister the product as soon as it's sold and you can register it in your name. The warranty on the card will last through June 2010. The 6-month tech support started on the day I registered it which was July 22, 2007 and will last through January 22, 2008. If you have questions you're welcome to e-mail me. Private mail me if you want to talk on the phone.

Thanks,

Marc Salvatore

Benjamin Hill September 6th, 2007 11:48 AM

went to eBay.

Rafael Lopes September 6th, 2007 02:32 PM

Here are the answers to the questions:

- I really don't know if it would work on a glidecam rig...I have never tried and I have only used it once.

- It does work with HDV.

- The adapter is a "generic" brand.

Rafael Lopes September 6th, 2007 02:34 PM

I'm interested and I've already sent you 2 e-mails! IF it can be transfered via cineform I will buy it right now. Please get back to me asap.
