Wanted - Tripod head (503ish)

Hi guys.

Does anyone out there have a Manfrotto 503 head or equivalent that they are thinking of parting with ?

Cheers
Mat

Vence Vida September 22nd, 2007 04:10 AM

I have a brand-new 503 that I don't need.
Got it at B&H for $279 but never used it.

Will sell it for $225 plus shipping. I'll cover the PayPal fees.

(btw - I will be out of town for the next 24 hours, in case you try to reach me.)

Where are you Todd?

I've been looking seriously at a getting a flyer for awhile now. This could be the motivation to make that happen.

I'm assuming this is a recent model with all the current mods, but I'm not completely clear on the accessory details.

I'm in NYC - it would be another boost if you hapen to be nearby....

Any possibility of making payments on it?

Chris Hurd September 22nd, 2007 08:56 PM

Making payments is basically the same thing as a layaway program, and generally speaking it's never a good idea. A private seller should not expect to have to collect incremental payments over a period of time before finally shipping the item once it's been paid in full. Plus it's a risk for the buyer. Too many variables are in play... what happens if the camera is lost, stolen or damaged before it's completely paid for?

Not a good situation for the buyer or the seller; therefore layaway is strongly discouraged here.
