Another VX2100 For sale!

I am selling one more of my Sony VX2100's. It is NTSC.

The camera produces excellent video results in low light. You know the excellent reputation of the VX2100. This is THE cam to have for low light conditions.

Everything works just fine on this camera. Cosmetically it's a 10 out of 10. Functionally, 10/10.

This VX2100 package includes:
Sony DCR-VX2100 camera
AC power adapter/Battery charger
Original Sony battery NP-F570
Replacement battery- NP-F950
Memory stick
Remote
UV filter lens
Operator manual
Hard Case
Transferable Mack Warranty
Bonus Extras worth $100's (Yes, $100's)

VX2100 price: $1850 (includes shipping to US)

Pictures are available at:
http://emeryvideo.com/vx2100pix

Brand new, the VX2100 ranges from around $2150 at B&H to around $3000 at a few well known retailers. But those prices don't include shipping or taxes. They don't include a UV filter. They certainly don't include an extra battery, or a hard case, a Mack Warranty, or other bonuses. This camera is under 2 years old and has over 2 years remaining on the transferable Mack warranty.

If you are seriously interested in purchasing this camera, or if you would like to ask a question, please contact me ONLY through my email address:

jeff@emeryvideo.com

Please indicate you saw the dvinfo posting.

I will only respond to inquiries sent to my email address. Please do not ask questions in the forum. Please do not email me to ask what the lowest price is that I'm willing to accept. If you want to make an offer, do so.

I'll try to be flexible as far as payment options go. Checks, Paypal, etc. Add $25 "fee" if using paypal to help offset what paypal charges me, which incidently is MORE. US funds and US shipping only.

I will update this thread when the camera becomes unavailable.

Thanks,

Jeff

Price Reduced -$1500

OK!

Before it goes up for auction next week, I'll drop the price to $1500.

This PD150 is in excellent condition. All the accesories are in excellent condition. The large sun shade and the Sony .7 lens gives the PD150 an impressive appearance.

I've added a few new picts with the large shade attached as well as the hours meter, so go check it out!

Is this an OEM card? Dual DVI output? I currently run my 24" Dell LCD with a Geforce 6800 and this seems like the ticket to upgrade.

Steven Davis April 23rd, 2007 02:25 PM

Card is nVidia branded. I ordered 2 a few months ago with my Dell XPS 600 and only needed one. Yes it is Dual DVI. I am currently running 2 Dell 24" UltraSharp monitors. The word "Stunning" comes to mind. Mucho editing real estate as well.

(You're probably wondering why I ordered 2 of them...Being somewhat uninformed at the time, I called Dell sales and told them what I was wanting to do...support 2 monitors for video editing...and they said I needed 2 cards for that. So much for "offshore" call centers and support)

FS: XL1 w/ 120GB FS-4Pro

I've got an interesting lot for sale. There's an XL-1 that's had a long life and has a failed tape mechanism, but everything else works. It comes with the stock lens and one stock battery - no charger. To make it actually useful, it is paired with a Firestore FS-4 Pro that has been upgraded to 120GB (very recently, with a brand new Samsung drive) and comes with a firewire cable and an extra battery.

I used this cam mainly for testing rigs so it's been around the block a few times. However, it does function correctly and plays very nicely with the firestore. I'm asking 1500 shipped, which would be the price of a normal XL-1. To reiterate, this is a fully working tapeless recording solution with 610mins of recording time - limited only by battery life!

Don't hesitate to ask any questions. I will consider partial trades as I am looking for good shotgun and wireless mics.

Jad

WTB: Used Varizoom Aviator

Hey Guys, anybody looking to sell there used Aviator camera stabilizer? I'm getting ready to purchase a new one in a week or so and thought I would try looking into a used one first. I should have bought a floor model at NAB but was a little short on funds but came into some money now. Let me know.

Bruce Ellingwood April 24th, 2007 05:48 PM

Price dropped to $1500.00

Patrick Moreau April 24th, 2007 08:44 PM

Just i case you hadn't heard, Tiffen released a new steadicam below the Flyer model which is cheaper to get new than the aviator should be used. I considered the aviator, but after doing some reading on the forums about steadicam an varizoom, and after talking with varizoom directly, one was clearly miles ahead of the other.
