Hi Oleg,......... read back a few responses, it is not natively switchable it is either sold as NTSC or PAL, this one is NTSC. I have never had a need to do it, but I imagine it can be switched, not sure. Just remember the main purpose of the monitor is framing, not focus, 90% of the time I can only see the shape of the person because of bright sunlight. I was almost tempted at one time to install a 16x9 LCD on top of the existing screen because I still needed the weight and I could always revert back to the original green screen.

Steven, I used to own a V-16, you are not missing much, your pilot is better, the only advantage for the V-16 is it can carry more weight, the V-16 is all allen wrench adjustment and it is not a highly precise setup, makes lots of noise (vest, springs etc.).

I've not used a pilot, can't comment on it, but I think it's safe to say that you get what you pay for. That said, the glidecam is a pretty good value. Despite its drawbacks, it produces excellent results. The minor precision it lacks loses importance as you add weight

The first to go is a Steadicam Merlin with the optional travel case that allows you to store the Merlin in the "setup position". It comes with both cases, cd, manual, everything that is original. The unit is only 6 months old and has been used only 2 times, unfortunately.
