Sorry Ken, no. The item was sold a while ago.

Michael Y Wong December 21st, 2007 02:30 PM

^^

Ken, being that it's XMAs i'll let it go for 550 cdn or 550 usd (not including shipping).

Perhaps its the not the best time of year; as I've had quite a few interested responses that would love to purchase after the new year; so for the time being it is still avialable.

Steadicam SK2 with modified arm + many extras! $6500

Hello everyone, I have an SK2 with a modified arm by Robert Luna, I had him put the second section on the arm (essentially a Provid arm) anyway, was lucky that he had the parts to do it, works great, as with anything Robert touches: the Mod alone was $1500, but the harder part is finding the parts to do it) I believe he rated it at 21-23 pounds max. This kit comes with the C-Stand, SK2 (Anton Bauer mount), Modified Arm, Original vest in great shape, Practice cage (has quick release tripod plate) with a 50 watt Frezzi with soft box (dimable) installed, it has a gold mount installed on the rear of the cage to accept the anton bauer Batteries to power the light, It comes with a spare stage plate (two total), 2- Hytron 50's, Titan Twin Charger, Large pelican case to house the unit, low mode bracket and the T-handle for adjustments. I will throw in the ORIGINAL EFP training tape (not a copy) and the VHS tape from Jerry Holway, asking $6500, works fantastic. Used it for weddings only, so it was not abused or heavily taxed. I'll also include a second smaller machined aluminum cage I would use for going in low mode (necessary because I had the light mounted on top of the other cage (which is Steel). I will accept Paypal.

$6500

Thanks
Mike

I'll get some photos I believe that it can handle between 21-23 lbs max, Robert Luna put a spacer on it to make it so it held more weight. I will get some pictures tonight. Located in Spokane Wa. Here is the spec sheet for Steadicams, the arm would be more in line with the Provid2+ weight wise.

I will just make a quick post to say thank you to Steve for selling me the 2 lenses.
They were in extremely good condition (like new) and the transaction went very well.
They were well packed and arrived safely at my door within a week (I live in Norway, Europe)
If anyone are thinking of buying anything from Steve, I can safely say you won´t be dissapointed. The gear is very well kept and reasonable priced.
My warmest recommendation.

I bought this camera, with 20 hours on it, from the original owner in February of 2006. It came to me in near perfect condition. I have put about 60 tape hours on it and since moved to a newer camera. It has been kept in ideal storing conditions and kept as clean as possible. Aside various small markings on the rubber coated lens hood (matte box) and eyecup, you could barely tell this camera has been used. Heads were cleaned only 3 times to my knowledge. The LCD is clean, unscratched. The wide angle lens, soft case, and 9 hour battery were purchased through B&H Photo in the middle of last year.
You can read 1000s of reviews online about this 1/3” 3CCD camera; it is rugged and provides high quality 4:3 images and great 16:9 images when stretched in post. In low light it beats out most cameras on the market. I am selling it to pay off my wife's car :-) I loved every tape it shot for me and it actually paid for my new camera! Most of the stuff on our website was shot with this camera.

I used only Sony Premium DVM60PRL tapes, nothing else, ever. There are currently no defects and I have not experienced any problematic issues with this camera in the entire time I have used it. It was never dropped or abused and in my care at all times.
I still have the original box, but the Sony Softcase doesn’t fit inside so it would be a bigger box to ship…

*Note –Needs iLink Cable (firewire cable) I never got one with it, it is optional apparently.

FS: Canon XL-H1 with many extras

As much as I don't want to do this, I am again considering to sell my XL-H1. I'm really only considering it now only because I have another camera (Sony XDCAM EX) that I can use on gigs and such, so I don't need 2 cameras right now.

I bought the XL-H1 for a feature that I am going to do, and to tell you the truth, I still like this camera better than the Sony EX1. But now that I am estimating a production schedule around fall 2008, I think I should sell it now and then evaluate what to buy when the time of production is near - hopefully an XL-H2 is out then :) - (plus I'll have the budget too).

So I'm seeing who would be interested in purchasing it. I have the following:

XL-H1 w/all original accessories
Canon Dual Battery Charger (which can mount on the back of the XL)
2 Extra 970 batteries
Portabrace CTC-3 carry case
Vocas/Century Optics baseplate, rails & Mattebox

Let me know if you are interested. You can see some pictures of it in use on my website as well as some of the things I've shot with it. It is in excellent working condition, and cosmetically in very good shape as well.

If you've read my posts on this forum, you know that I am a huge fan of the XL cameras and I really do love this camera. But logic is telling me to sell now and repurchase before I really need it (especially if they update the camera around that time).

But since I like this camera so much, I'm in no hurry nor am I in need to sell, but do let me know if you are interested.

I'm looking for $6500 for everything. I think that's a great deal. If you're interested, I'll send the camera into Canon for a full factory check and cleanup before you purchase as well.
