Offered for sale is a nearly-new Arm & Vest Kit for use with the Steadicam Merlin or Steadicam JR. I bought it in March of this year and really love it. The only reason I’m selling it is because I need to upgrade to the Pilot.

It contains everything included with the original purchase:

- Iso-Elastic Arm with 28” Boom Range (2lb to 7.5 lb Camera Capacity)
- Merlin Vest with vertical adjustment and two-axis socket block
- Additional Merlin Weight Set (2 mid weights)
- Gimbal Assembly-Metal
- Quick-start guide for assembly and use

The velcro has picked up some “fuzzys” but apart from that everything is in perfect condition.

Tiffen’s MSRP for the Merlin Arm /Vest Kit was $1995.00 with the all-metal gimbal. It appears that now it no longer includes the all-metal gimbal, since Merlins are now shipping with the all-metal gimbal standard. (see Tiffen’s price list here)The MSRP WITHOUT the gimbal is $1895.00.
