I just have used it mounted to my tripod. I made a simple support bracket that I can throw in there that is easy enough to hook up to.

I have a 40G FS-4 Pro hard drive recorder for sale. This is the original Firestore FS-4 and does not have the HD upgade (although it can be purchased from Focus Enhancements). Record time is approx. 3 hrs. The Pro verison has Avid OMF, Canopus AVI, and Quicktime 24P recording. The unit comes with the belt clip, stock firewire cable, stock 90 minute battery and AC power supply. Along with the stock battery there is also an extended battery that allows 3 additional hours of operation. Unit is ideal for use with a DVX100.

Wow, David. I'm still using my AG-DVC200, and agree with you. It is a great camera. I'm using two FX1's for weddings now, but the 200 still is the corporate work cam. The last 2 jobs that I've done, both clients have told me how impressed they were with my camera.

To anyone considering purchasing David's camera, I say go for it!

I realize that this thread is a year old, but are you still looking to sell this lens? I'm not exactly in the market right this second, but I may very well be itching to buy the 14x glass in a few weeks. $600 is beautiful, but I'm hoping you still have this lens and that you're willing to ask a little less for it in light of the fact that seemingly there are only 12 of us still shooting in SD. :)

Thanks for the offer, but the lens sold long time ago. It was an awesome lens, so if you have a chance to buy one, go for it. I had both the 16x manual and the 14x, and I preferred the 14 in retrospect.
