Book Suggestion

Hi.

I'm a beginner at this video stuff, but have a basic understanding of how to edit a film on my computer using Sonic Foundry Vegas Video 3.0. However, I know there are really nice tricks out there for making some special effects using layering and was wondering if any of you had suggestions on what books might show how to do such things. I would imagine any non-linear book would have the concept I could apply to my editing software.

Thanks,
Ron

Hmm, this non-linear stuff changes so fast, it's hard to publish a book that doesn't go obsolete the minute it hits the shelves.
