yea i tried that with a short clip and you are right. Encore likes Adobe Media Encoder file but it was too late for me. I let encore do its job and it re-transcoded everything again. It...

i think this might be the problem why encore needs to re-transcode. I was on 30p and it doesn't support. I will try 24P and let you all know.

i tried changing the extension but i am losing the audio. The dic was finalized from the camcorder (sony dcr-dvd305). i just converted the .vob file into .mpg from intervideo windvd but i havn't...

VOB files in premiere cs4
