Re: Cloud backup for Video?

I too use a NAS to store everything. The NAS is 16TB, setup in RAID 1 for redundancy and is automatically backed up to Crashplan in the cloud in case of catastrophic failure. Crashplan is many...

Re: Offsite Backups

Re: Offsite Backups

I use Crashplan as well - they are in the event of a catastrophe only as you couldn't rely on them as a backup due to the lenghth of time it would take for a failed drive to be restored.

I have a...

Re: Photo + Video - One Man

I get this a lot from other videographers also :)

The bride will only receive (generally) 4 or 5 of these pics and they will be the ones with the best expressions. If you take just one pic each...

Re: Photo + Video - One Man

I would expect them to do a better job than someone trying to do both jobs at the same time, yes :)

Personally I cannot see how anyone could do a good job while trying to do both at the same time...

Re: Outsource Editing

I've used Sham already. He's ok but doesn't really listen to direction and tends to do his own thing a little. The timeframe is not great either, can take a few days for a response etc. He is cheap...

Re: Hey guys. Looking to spend $2000 on wedding/event video camera(s)

I use the Panasonic AG-AC90 and the HC-X920 as a B-Cam to film weddings and I find them to be great. The low light performance is pretty good on both, not brilliant but perfectly acceptable for what...
