I personally use Steven's VIVIDRGB on the A1. (thanks for the time you saved me Steven)

I own the FX1, A1, HVX and HV20 and they excel in at least one of their features.

It is not one fits all kind of thing.

I am sure that most cameras have run a tape to be tested in factory. In that case maybe they used a different tape with different tape lubricant. That could cause your tape to clog up your camera.
