Re: Shoot weddings at UHD or 1080??
In regard to your workflow, wether you go to HD or DVD, I wouldn't change anything really, unless you plan to export as 4K you need to edit in a 4K project but otherwise just treat a 4K file like you...

Re: Shoot weddings at UHD or 1080??
I always edit a 4K file in a 1080p project and render out a 1080p file, files from my 4K camera's are visually more detailed while edited and exported, if I shoot in 1080p on my gh4 and put that...

Re: Another Registrar Moan
We should have a "rant" sub category here, plenty of stories to tell :)
It appears the UK is not a fun place to be shooting in churches or working together with registars. I am not sure I would...

Re: Wedding - color grade and shooting style
I think there is a limit in the time you use to show each shot for the viewer to process it, in the capri video I found the transition often too fast and that barely gave me the time to see what was...

I have edited some a6000 footage taken in good light conditions and was surprised how nice it looked, very detailed and nice color, didn't get to see any low light shots. From what I have seen the...

Re: Dedicated Steadicam Camera
for video the iso is limited to 3200 iso but it's a pretty clean looking 3200 iso, I wouldn't use any of these cheap zoom lenses though as they are too slow, a bit pricey but an awesome lens is the...

Not so sure if that applies to wedding videographers, it's not as if we market ourselves on our website like "just tell us which videogrpaher's style you like and we"ll copy it for you!" :) Each...

Re: Video: First Look at Canon XC10
He likes to call the xc10 a videocamera because it captures UHD and not true 4K, even if it has a 4K logo on the camera because 2K and true 4K is a cineformat while UHD and HD is a videoformat which...

Re: PXW-X70 vs RX10-II
Yeah, like the build in projector the sony cx handycam line had in their lcd screens. Sony is briljant though in building in superhandy geekstuff, like my sony cx730 which has a build in videolight.
