With the FS7 around the corner and Canon losing out in the sub 10k camera department, I think this announcement will be huge. Either it's an affordable 4k cine cam or or a whole new camera lineup...

I'm guessing a 6k camera. I do have a very big hint, I won't tell you from where until it's officially announced to see if what I saw is correct.

I was thinking the same thing, sony can make more $$ obviously if the module +battery are required but maybe that would hopefully change by the release date.

I downloaded it and checked it out. It looks really good with no visible banding at all. I'm going to perform extensive tests with LED lights and see what happens.
