Re: Wedding Film Frame Rate, 24 or 30?

I am just now struggling with understanding which is best myself. Indoor low lit churches and receptions seem to need any extra help with light as possible, but when you go outside to shoot glidecam...

Re: BTS Commentary: The Creation of a Modern Wedding Video

OH yes, will be attending the rehearsals for sure!

Speaking of flying by the seat of my pants, you wouldn't believe how hard it is to find women's slacks with POCKETS these days! Geez! I was...

Re: BTS Commentary: The Creation of a Modern Wedding Video

Michael,

I see your point about mixing the footage. I bought 2-60D's and will use the HV's for backup and maybe a wide shot or two, but plan on some heavy use of Color in post with it. I've been...

I think you lie when you say you're new at this! ; ) I love the work you did. Great job! I like the shadows behind the interviewees from the tree and the speed change during the...

Re: Workflow for transcoding

But to use the multicam function they have to be exactly the same, so 1440x1080 doesn't cut it. I have to convert it to 1920x1080. I wonder if there's a bug in pluraleyes...will be doing research...

Workflow for transcoding

Can anyone verify this is correct?

Took my footage that was 1080i HDV shot at 30fps and imported into FCP7. It shows up there as 1440x1080 ProRes 422 but I need it to match my 1920x1080 footage...

Re: transcode

I like the style and the way you edited around the music. Did you use black and white because the colors of the HV40 didn't match with the 60D?

Re: transcode

Hi Steve,

You and me are in the same boat so to speak. Here's what I've been doing:

Use mpeg streamclip (I believe it's free) to convert your H.264 files from your 60D to Apple ProRes 422...

Re: 60D with T2i?

Yes, I do have two 60D's.

I thought the best layout is to have 1-60D w/70-200L in the aisle on a tripod after the processional and then to have another 60D with Tamron 17-50 2.8 focused on the...

Re: 60D with T2i?

Re: 60D with T2i?

I'm seeing the t2i takes different batteries, and it looks like I won't be able to use the same SD cards, as the ones for the t2i will have magic lantern on them, if i'm getting this right. Oh my...
