Re: Any word on XAVC-L plugin for FCP X?
Still waiting on the plug-in for Sony Vegas Pro 13. I have the FS7 and purchased it for XAVC-L use. Been using Mpeg422 and XAVC-I for slow-mo instead and it's annoying. I feel your pain. :(

Re: New Sony FS7 4K XDCAM at IBC 2014
For me personally it wouldn't phase me at all. If delivery of my FS7 is October I would have put the camera to work from October-June if that new camera is released at that time. That's 9 months the...

Re: New Sony FS7 4K XDCAM at IBC 2014
Its the holding price for now. Dealers will be notified of street pricing on Monday. I was told if that pricing is lower which it is, I'll receive that price.

Did the camera battery die before you could stop recording? If so then yes the file can't be open. The software to close out the file on the camera does not work in 4K mode. Not sure if it's XAVC-S...

It's probably just the street price for the PXW-180. At $6,000 MSRP they wouldn't move against the PMW-200/300. At a street price of $5K it's much easier to move units. Now if there was another $1K...
