Class 6 work ok, but 10's can be much better. Buy the best write speed you can afford. 32GB SD cards are now priced better than 16GB (per GB), go figure.

Did you install all the included files with Magic Lantern?

It's easier than you imagine...

The instructions are very straight-forward.
The only change to the camera firmware itself is to toggle boot instructions from the SD card. This is completely reversible.
