BNC Cable Help
I want to be able to sync my 2 XF305's and not sure what cable I need to do this. I did not know there were so many BNC cables and do not want to order the wrong one.
Anyone have any information...

Thank You, I am using CS5 but will upgrade to CS5.5 if it makes my workflow better.
When using 2 XF305's I will pay the $399 to upgrade my production suite if it simplifies the workflow.

Which Bag for the XF305?
I have the Portabrace DVO-2R and it fits nicely but when you add a shotgun mic it gets a little cramped wondering what everyone else is using.

Thanks Roger, when I updated to XF Utility 1.1 it solved the problem of not seeing the CF card.

I see BH is still out of stock on these camera's, are these available anywhere or just that hard to come by?

From what I have read, the Canon Software should recognize the files when you insert the CF card, or have the files in a ROOT directory of a Hard Drive. This does not happen, and I have yet to find a...

Audio Import?
With my EX1's it imported 2 mono audio channels which made it easy to edit when one channel was a shotgun and one a lav.
How do I get the XF305 to import the same way with out having to do it in...

I have owned a pair of XH A1's and a pair of EX1's and do not see enough difference in the size to worry about it.
It may be heavier on paper, or scales but hand holding it, it feels lighter.

Looks like the 305 does have an hour meter that can not be reset.
It also has one that can, but the main meter according to the guys from Vortec Media in their video.
Camera seems to be brand new...

Since I needed to use a BH gift card and shipping discount anyways, and the 305 is all they had in stock I went with that one. It will be here tomorrow. :)

I am getting ready to order one of these and leaning towards the 300 but do not want to regret not stepping up to the 305.
What advantages does the 305 have?

UV Filter For Protection?
On my DSLR's I choose not to use the uv filters as I do feel the image quality suffers slightly, and being a CPS member if I ever did have an issue, I get a loaner while my lens is quickly repaired....
