Any Windows computer running 7 or 8 will format an sd card exFat. It's an option in the format command. I bet you have an Apple computer.

There is no indicator of CIZ I get either. That does not mean you are not getting CIZ with Active mode. Instead of looking for an indicator, why don't you test how far the lens zooms when Active mode...

It does NOT go in the same place. There are separate connectors for headphone and microphone. They each have their own little door too (and btw, headphone is an output and microphone is an input).

The card needs to be first formatted exFat. 64GB SDXC cards come formatted exFat. For your cards, format exFat in the computer then format the card in the AX100.
