Are there any wedding shooters out there that use smaller handicams only together with their dslr(s), with small I mean canon xa10 kind of small?

yes I know, 6db gain is often necessary, even in churches that are not that dark and higher up was unusable for my standards, I even found 6db not good, but like I stated the730 has cleaner footage...

Weird, then the 760 must perform differently? I get virtually noise free footage with the 730 at 21 db, cleaner then 1600 iso on my dslr and certainly cleaner then 6db on my Canon.

Yes, it could be depending how close I am standing to the groom, but like I said, it can be any peak sound, that might be even louder, it doesn't necessarily have to be the tripod head clicking sound.
