Do you need to shoot live events? I don't think the AF upgrade is worth it unless you are. It might be useful for interviews if you need to shoot at a really wide aperture though.

F4 is good for the reception if you have a C100... maaaybe a 5DM3.

I've used both and the C100 can give usable footage at 10,000 ISO so F4 is definitely usable. You're really pushing your luck...

Zoom H6 with the extra XLR input module to record a backup audio file.
2 wireless mics.
2 wired recorders/mics (I use Zoom h1s).

I don't remember who mentioned this before but someone suggested to me to use a shure sm57 or 58 with a mic stand that's placed in front of the speaker. I cannot thank them enough as this SAVED me...
