Yes I used Magic Bullet Looksplugin in FCP but mainly for some vignettes. Adjusted the colour a little here & there but mostly that's how it looked straight from the camera using the standard profile.

Thanks, no I didn't use a dolly. A couple of the shots are actual pans but I only had a very small and light tripod with me so most of the movement was done with key frames in post.

I have the same issue.. I took camera back to Sony dealer & they checked it against one of theirs and it looked the same. I think it's very common but perhaps many people don't notice it.

The problem is not limited to interlaced HDV footage. The work around mentioned in previous post unfortunately does not work with XDCAM progressive 1080p25 35mbs footage.

Cards work brilliantly .. had no problems over cranking 50 frames with 16 GB ultra ll's.
