You can use MPEG Streamclip ( free ) to batch...
You can use MPEG Streamclip ( free ) to batch process the 5d2 files as pretty much anything you'd like.... for imovie/FCE use apple intermediate codec and your good to go.
If you jump up to FCP...

I used compressor to batch process them....
I used compressor to batch process them. MPEGstreamclip ( free ) also does a great batch process to prorez. You can also open the .mov clips in quicktime pro and export them one at a time.

The only time I ever use the z90 is as a obie light to put a catch...
