Hello,
I have the Octo Core 2.8 Xeon Processors.
The footage struggled on playback only while FCP X was rending in the background.
Once I waited for the background to render 100% - my play back...

Never mind.
Once FCP X finishes rendering at 100% the video plays very smooth in the preview window.

Hello,
I used my New Sony AX2000 (little brother to the NX5) and after importing my wedding I noticed on playback screen everything looks jumpy and sort of looks like its skipping during playback....

I just wound up getting the Sony 32GB Memory Stick PRO-HG Duo.
I got 2 of them for $200.00 at the Sony Store.

These are 50 mb/ps Class 10 cards and not too much more than 3rd party brands so I...

I'm currently using the SanDisk - 8GB Extreme SDHC Memory Card
It only gives me 45 mins of video but I'm just using it to practice for right now.

Anyone know if I can load this baby with (2)...

OK I got it!
You have to use the "Import from Camera" NOT "import files"..

They now all show up.

It sees the memory card as a virtual camera, but the camera interface is still just a fancy...

I downloaded the entire file structure on my hard drive.
Used the "AVCHD" folder and all of it contents.
When using Final Cut Pro X - I point to that file directory and it doesnt not recognize ANY...

Low light will matter for Weddings but also the zoom for reasons you have mentioned.

The XF100 & XA10 are being hailed as the DSLR replacement for video cameras.
From my reading, many that have used the Cannon 5D are now able to use a "video camera" with the same low light results....

Not sure why you would recommend the NX70?
I just looked it up and it fails in low light.

I have used these 2 cameras that I bought brand new from B&H Video.
They have very little time on them and have been used for just a few weddings.

Not sure how much they are really worth...
