Re: Official Canon Website Release EOS 1DX2

Re: Official Canon Website Release EOS 1DX2

All of it is blah blah blah for me until you get to dual pixel touch screen focusing, like the 70D.
4K at 60 fps is good, too.

Wondering how high it will have clean iso?

Still 8-bit.

Re: What I deliver - 5 and 15, plus a GIF

I'll try that.

I'm shooting regular ol' Canon for everything else, though I've got my eye on the new Sonys. Might have to save for those.

Re: Indian Wedding shot with an iPhone

I already have to remind myself not to get mad when I see "professionals" using unlicensed music. Don't get me started on the rest of this stuff.

What I deliver - 5 and 15, plus a GIF

Up here its the time of year when things are (usually) very cold so no weddings until the end of March, now.

Here is what I deliver to my clients, a short form at 5 minutes for Facebook (this one...

Re: Indian Wedding shot with an iPhone

That doesn't make any sense. The sensor size is really the biggest issue for the difference between a small camera and a larger DSLR. I doubt Apple is going to make room for a bigger sensor.

Re: Indian Wedding shot with an iPhone

I was going to say something snarky about how all the pics were using good sunlight, then saw the pics at night and thought 'wow.'

Then at 1:24 I see he has an off-camera light in his hand.

Re: On camera light for a hater?

They're around $30 right now. I've had a few and there have been...durability issues.

That said, I just ordered another one AND a Polaroid 18 Super Bright Macro SMD LED Ring Flash & Light ($70). ...

Re: 42nd Street Photo almost got me

42nd Street Photo is so scummy that when you Google "42nd Street Photo Scam", the first YouTube video is clearly an ad by them, posted by something called Wiz SEO. They're obviously paying someone...

Re: Questions re: Displaying a Photo Montage

It depends on the environment.

If there are windows/sunlight at all, go with the TVs.

The projectors will need a certain distance to fit the screen. This model needs about 15 feet of space to...

Re: Filming on smartphones

Hahahaha, I was going to say they are a wide angle, like a GoPro, so will lack intimacy of a good zoom lens, but I like your way of laying it all out much better.

Heck, my wife used to shoot with...

Re: Time to change our marketing tactics??

Re: Camera Advice (What to Rent)

Well, apart from the logistical nightmare 3 different cameras will be (mostly in post), I'd say go ahead and get the Sony then, for the low light quality.

So, what IS your shooting plan? Why 2...
