Re: Gregg + Heather | Preview Trailer | Serendipity Studios

Jawad | Thanks!

Jeremy | Not sure what you mean by 'rate'. I can tell you we shot it at 24P with a high shutter and aperture because of how bright it was. I think we filmed for about 5-6 minutes...

Re: LED Light Flickers on DSLR Cameras...

The best thing I can tell you to do with lighting is to get the light up high and aim it down as much as possible. This will help keep the light on the subject and not the background (decor). You...

Re: LED Light Flickers on DSLR Cameras...

We've been dealing with this a lot more over the last 2 years as more and more DJ's and lighting companies added LED's to their inventory. It's a problem with the frequency of the lighting, and...

Re: Rhett + Nicole | MUST SEE Wedding Highlights | Serendipity Studios

Re: Customer Guide...

I'm all for different approaches in business, but wow, a 17-page questionnaire seems like total overkill to me. I know if I was a groom and a vendor sent me a 17-page questionnaire I'd be pretty...

Re: Rhett + Nicole | MUST SEE Wedding Highlights | Serendipity Studios

We use anywhere from 4-5 cameras while shooting a wedding ceremony, which leaves us free to dedicate one camera to more creative shots. That said, I only work with a single assistant and we work...

Re: Rhett + Nicole | MUST SEE Wedding Highlights | Serendipity Studios

It takes maybe 5 minute extra to set up a light, and we take care to set it up so that it's not going to annoy the guests. We also generally only use the lighting for major events like the first...

Re: The future of wedding video?

The truth of the matter is you tend to attract what you sell. You obviously sell a more documentary-style production, so you attract those couples. We sell a more cinematic-style production, and...

Re: Wedding Audio Advice

First of all, forget wireless mic's. We were one of the first studios to drop wireless about 6 or 7 years ago and start using DVR's only and have never looked back. You can pick up the Olympus...

Re: Cancellations

Warren, I used to look at it from the bride's perspective .. until the economy crashed and we had several brides default on their final payments. We were the most expensive in our market and we were...

Re: Rhett + Nicole | MUST SEE Wedding Highlights | Serendipity Studios

Thanks for watching!

For the most part we choose music after the wedding day, not before. Our thinking is that you don't really know exactly how the wedding day will play out until you've been...

Re: Rhett + Nicole | MUST SEE Wedding Highlights | Serendipity Studios

Re: Brides without BluRay

Having had this discussion recently with a bunch of women I can tell you that the average bride will not be at all impressed by a WD player and a hard drive; the groom maybe, but the bride no. It's...
