Ok, I ripped the right arm off by opening the 3046 legs (with the crank) and the arm got caught on the legs as I yanked on them....pow! Off went that arm. So sickened, I picked up some nice 3192...

FCP 6 ROCKS for P2 import
3 words. Log and Transfer.
Never you mind P2 Log or anything else. FCP 6 has a sweet interface for all the P2 footage that gets dumped onto a drive. Just copy the entire "card1" or "card2"...

Set pre-roll to 1 sec.
Eric, try a test on a capture after you change your "preroll/post roll" prefs to 1 sec. You will still experience the loss of a second or so at each clip, but it does help.
