Re: What stabilizer do you use, or would like to be using.

To be honest Noa, I might still be using the G2 incorrectly. I also think a panasonic GH2 is a little on the heavy side for this rig as well. I think I'm going to return it unfortunately, just isn't...

Re: What stabilizer do you use, or would like to be using.

Actually just made a real quick little comparison of stabilizers (including the new 3-axis defy g2) and posted it in the stabilizer section, but here you go.

Disclaimer: I'm pretty much a total...

Novice Comparison - Defy 3-Axis G2, Glidecam HD1000, Steadicam Flyer

So I'd like a method to evenly add a lot of light to large dance floors and overall reception areas after my weddings which can sometime be as dark as a cave. As of now I have two comer LED lights...

Re: Silver GH2 and lenses, shotgun mic, and accessories

Great guy, great package. Love the 12mm 2.0, tested it for a bit. Just couldn't afford it really yet over the 14mm 2.5, but someday I will!!

Re: Live switched multi-camera setup

This is very interesting. I've actually been tossing the idea around in my brain about making a rather complicated but certainly doable three camera live switching system for shooting wedding...

Re: Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 + speedbooster = 7.7-11.2 2.0.

PS. just a heads up, i've decided after a lot of testing that the 14mm 2.5 is just about good enough for me, so I'm going to be returning my tokina 11-16mm and putting the speedbooster up for sale in...

Re: Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 + speedbooster = 7.7-11.2 2.0.

I'm going to take some footage with it in the next day or so and put it up. I haven't noticed anything out of wack in the corners, but then again I'm sure I am much less critical than most. There is...

Re: Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 + speedbooster = 7.7-11.2 2.0.

Wow, never knew about that lens. That IS fast! If it weren't for that 2x crop factor on GH2's I'd snag one of those in a heartbeat. To be honest I'm not convinced yet I really need to get much wider...

Tokina 11-16mm 2.8 + speedbooster = 7.7-11.2 2.0.

I went out on the limb and tried this combo out now that the speedbooster is available. To my surprise, it does actually work. This is the fastest, widest combo I believe available for m/43. The...

Re: Suggestions for cheaper alternative to Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8?

Re: Suggestions for cheaper alternative to Panasonic 35-100mm f/2.8?

I'd like to mention that I just pulled the trigger on the new metabones Nikon to m4/3 adapter. This will supposedly turn my 70-200 2.8 manual sigma (effective 140-400) into a 100-284 @ 2.0 for about...

Does anyone use a spinning platform for a ring macro shot?

I can't tell if this would be cool or cheesy and make it look like a infomercial. I found a decent spinning platform on amazon for like 150 bucks, I immediately thought of a macro ring shot with them...
