I never re-use mini dv tapes accept to back up an event that they were used to film.

I now own a sony dvcam camera and it uses £20 184 min tapes. They are not cheap and I still use the mini dv...

encore wont let me .......

encore wont let me go from the movie while playing back to the menu by pressing the menu button on my remote even though in the timeline settings it is told to do this, while previewing it in encore...

Has anyone shot either an fx1 or z1 with a 250 in 16:9 or 4:3 mode on the same shoot and if yes how did they match up?

Comparing the sony dsr 250 to the z1

Is the sony dsr 250p a 16:9 aspect camera and is the picture quality of it as good as the sony z1 in its sd mode, or is the z1 a better quality camera?

The thing is I currently own a Canon XL2...
