GH3: Kauai Hawaii
Even a nickname like "The Garden Island" fails to do justice to Kauai's beauty. Verdant trees grow canopies over the few roads, and brooding mountains are framed by long, sandy beaches, coral reefs,...

Re: XA-20 is a fine camera
Thanks for the report Jeff. Been watching these Canons since the XA10. It appears most, if not all the rough spots have been iron out.

X900/920 EVF Compared to TM700?
I'm looking to upgrade my aging TM700, but would like something with a better EVF. The TM700 EVF is barely usable for framing. For those who've already upgraded, have you found the X900/920 EVF an...

Re: GH3 Lens Options
Good reference videos Ryan. Thanks for sharing.
Something that is seldom mentioned, but significant is, when using Lumix lenses on GH cameras, many of the technical issues mentioned in reviews are...

Re: GH3 Lens Options
I agree, both are fine lenses. If I could only have 1, it would be the wider 14mm. However, my favorite pair are the 12-35 f2.8 and 20mm f1.7.
Best of luck with your choice.

Re: GH3 in San Diego
Because the BMC Pocket Camera will not be available until July, and based on Black Magic's history, probably much later.
Because not having shipped yet, other than a few sample videos, talk of its...

Re: Wide Angle zoom for GH3
The Lumix 14-45 is a fine lens, and a favorite behind the 12-35.
The Lumix GX 14-42 is great for portability, but the zoom is imprecise.
Though the Lumix 12-35 is pricey, once you've used it...

Re: GH3: Arizona Superstition Mountains
Thank you for watching and the good comment Roger. Unfortunately, the Buckskins are 3.5 hr West of Phoenix, and the Superstitions 1 hr East. Next time you're in Phoenix, check them out.

Re: GH3 - No Peaking, Confirmed
Guess I'm in the 10% not crying about peaking. Yes, it would have been nice, but there is a long list of other GH3 improvements. Some of which far outweigh the benefits of focus peaking.
