Now I'm having the same problem that Frederic had, can't capture with FCP5 and 10.4.1. Do I have to reinstall the whole OS?
FCExpress is capturing okay, but it will be AIC that way.

Before you creat a project, go to the Final Cut Pro menu, in the "Easy Setup", choose HDV-180i60. Then create a blank project. That will correctly setup the capturing and timeline for HDV...

Hmm, not impressed with the image as I had guessed.

When I tested HC1000 before which has the CMOS inside, I was very dissapointed with the image, so I was suspecting that HDR-HC1 is not going to be that impressive. I will test the prosumer version...
