I've tried to keep up with all the frenzy about what FCP X will and won't do but I don't think I've found a specific answer to a question I have.

I'm not sure how heavy the XF300 is, but if it's anything close to my EX3 I really can't image you'd want to put something of that weight (and size) on a little Merlin.
